First Thursdays: Our Relationship with a Changing Israel
Thursday, October 6, 7:00 pm

We kick off our First Thursdays with special guest Rabbi Josh Weinberg, Executive Director of ARZA (the Association of Reform Zionists of America) and Vice President of the URJ for Israel and Reform Zionism. Rabbi Weinberg will discuss "Our Relationship with a Changing Israel: How Changes in Both Communities Impact This Relationship.” There is no doubt that there are significant shifts in the support of Israel within the current American Jewish community. Is it generational? Is it a reaction to the Haredi presence? Is it due to shifts in the internal political affiliations of the American community? How central is Israel to our identity?

We invite you to join in this important conversation, which is open to the community.

Join us via Zoom.
