Our committee is hoping to start a Friendly Visitor program to make a link to homebound congregants. Please join us to discuss and explore this important program. For more information, contact Jane Bloom.

Caring Community Volunteers provide Transportation, Meals on a short-term basis, Shopping, Telephone reassurance, Friendly visits, Shiva set-up assistance, more. If you or someone in your family is confined to home because of illness or injury, M'kor Shalom's Caring Community volunteers are here to help. Please contact Jane Bloom or the synagogue office, so our volunteers can respond to your needs.

Climate Change: It's on Us to Be the Change! 
Sunday, February 2, 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Students of all ages and parents can repurpose used plastic bottles into beautiful wind chimes. Everyone bringing a plastic bottle receives a soft pretzel and juice box. With a little creativity and teamwork, anything is possible! No charge. Kindly RSVP by January 27. 
Wednesday, February 5, 7:00 pm
Speakers Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club, and Ryan Rebozo, Ph.D., Director of Conservation Science at the Pinelands Preservations Alliance will speak about climate change locally and in New Jersey as a whole, and actions we can take in our everyday lives. Attendees will also plant tree seeds to nurture over the winter and replant outdoors in the spring! This program is free and open to the community. Together, we can make a difference! Kindly RSVP by January 29.

We have collection bins in both the main office and the school office. Drop off during regular office hours. These materials will be recycled and the congregation will receive a cash rebate. A win-win opportunity!
