Trans Western Chemicals signs with Kuncai Americas, LLC for the Western US
Kuncai Americas, LLC and Trans Western Chemicals, Inc have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for the Western US effective February 1 st, 2020. Trans Western Chemicals will represent Kuncai Americas full line of Effect Pigments for the CASE, Plastics, and Personal Care markets.

Kuncai Americas LLC is the North American sales and marketing office for their parent company, Fujian Kuncai Material Technologies Co. Ltd. Kuncai manufactures world class pearlescent pigments for plastics, coatings, and cosmetic markets, specializing in synthetic mica products. Mara Golitz, CEO for Kuncai Americas said, “We are excited to announce the addition of Trans Western Chemicals to our distribution team. They will allow us to better serve our customers along the West Coast by providing local inventory, excellent customer service, and a knowledgeable technical team.”

Fuji Silysia Chemical, Ltd. was established in 1965, specializing in the manufacturing of synthetic amorphous silica. With its exceptional chemical stability, synthetic amorphous silica can be found in a wide range of commercial applications.

FSC offers products with a wide range of pore volume (PV) and pore diameters (PD), both of which play a major role in matting, anti-block, clarity, receptivity, dispersion, absorption, and various other properties. Silica-gel is extremely pure at 99.7% SiO2, making it incredibly safe and inert for use in food and pharmaceutical applications. Fuji offers functionalized surface treatments that can assist with moderate hard settling, mar resistance, burnish resistance, and UV performance.
