Read Beyond the Beaten Path During Our Summer Reading Program
Pack up your camping gear and a favorite book because the Summer Reading Program is back! Starting today, you can “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” at the Library.
Whether you have a library card or not, campers of all ages, from birth to adult, can register for the Summer Reading Program. Set goals, read books and earn prizes all summer long! Hike over to your nearest Naperville Public Library or head to our website to start your outdoor
summer adventure.
For even s’more fun this summer, paddle over to the Library for special storytimes and programs. Children can grab their binoculars and join the hunt for Bigfoot. We’ve heard that he’s been exploring the bookstacks while he waits for you to find him!

Announcing Our Newest Summer Event: Pokémon Camp
Calling all Pokémon Trainers! You're invited to plenty of Pokémon fun at the
Library on June 10 - 12.
Each building will host a full day of activities to celebrate all things Pokémon. Participate in themed crafts, trivia challenges, scavenger hunts and more!

Celebrate Pride Month
June is a month to shine with pride! Celebrate the joy, power and future of the LGBTQ+ community with several Pride programs.
For teens and adults, join us for Transgender 101 on June 21 and When LGBTQ+ Past and Present Collide on June 30.
Children can also join in the celebration with Rainbow Pride Storytime, a program that promotes the diversity of all families within the LGBTQ+ community on June 9, 13 and 14.

Honor the Legacy of Juneteenth
On June 19, we honor the historic holiday when African Americans who were enslaved received news that they were finally free.
Children can dance and sing as they learn about Juneteenth with the help of Culture Queen during Juneteenth Jubilee on June 13 at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
For adults, our Brown Bag Lecture: Emancipation to Inauguration will walk you through the Black Experience in Chicago on June 16 at 12:30 p.m. at 95th Street Library.
