MIAMI-DADE COUNTY HOTEL ISOLATION PROGRAM

Don't let your guard down. New COVID-19 infections remain a risk in many households. If you don't have an effective way to isolate at home, take advantage of our hotel isolation program.

Miami-Dade County has established a “help line” for residents who need temporary hotel rooms to quarantine/isolate due to COVID-19. For assistance or to make a reservation call 305-614-1716 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily.

LIVE PERFORMANCES NOW ALLOWED

Mayor Carlos Gimenez signed Amendment 2 to the Emergency Order 28-20 to allow Live performances. Providing performers are no less than ten feet from patrons at all times and such patrons observe such performances from tables or stationary seats. The order became effective on Thursday, September 24, 2020.

ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT; MAKE YOURSELF COUNT!

Census 2020

It's quick and easy. The 2020 Census questionnaire will take about 10 minutes to complete. It's safe, secure and confidential. Your information and privacy are protected.

Your response helps to direct billions of dollars in federal funds to local communities for schools, roads and other public services.

PALMETTO BAY RESIDENTS KNOW THE CENSUS MATTERS

As of mid-August, 76.7% of the residents in Palmetto Bay had responded to the Census, well above the national rate of 59% and the statewide rate of 57%. In fact, Palmetto Bay ranked first in response rate for all municipalities in Miami-Dade County. This is extremely important since vital funding including, emergency response assistance, schools, roads, and public transit is based on local population and demographical data. Therefore, we would like to say, thank you Palmetto Bay, and we hope that our participation numbers continue to climb. Be counted!
