We are building a movement called
Everything’s Possible that shares the dreams, aspirations, and experiences of the students and teachers who make up the Boise School District. We are lucky to have students like
William (pictured below)
as part of our district, and today we shared a recent moment we captured of William with our followers on social media. Below are the links to the social media pages where this was shared. Please share his story.

Kyle Nalder
, a Junior at Borah High School and former Treasure Valley Math & Science Center student, scored a perfect score of 36 on the
ACT
. Only around two-tenths of 1% of all test takers earn the top score, according to the ACT. Among U.S high school graduates in the class of 2018, just 3,741 out of more than 1.9 million students who took the ACT earned a composite score of 36. "Your exceptional score will provide any college or university with ample evidence of your readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead," wrote the ACT.

Brynn Barber
, a sophomore in
David Archibald-Seiffer'
s Accelerated English 10 class at Timberline High School has been named the Idaho high school top award recipient in the
Letters About Literature
competition sponsored by the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. and the Idaho Commission on Libraries. Brynn's entry will now move to the national level where she will be eligible for monetary prizes ranging from $2,000 to $500. Brynn wrote her letter to Tamara Ireland Stone's book, Every Last Word. Unlike a book review, the LAL contest asks the student to thank an author for the impact the work had on his or her life. Brynn is the latest in a ten year run for students in Mr. Archibald-Seiffer's class, who have either won or placed second in this competition.
