With mud season approaching us we are hearing that places are closing down for a couple weeks??
Well folks here at the Readsboro Inn we are open 7 days a week and we laugh at mud.
So if your boots and pants are muddy dont worry about that swing on by and grab something from the kitchen or a cold drink.
Starting 4/8 we will be running a mud season special for 2 weeks.
Buy a burger and Budweiser regular - $8.00 for the first 2 hours we are open each day.
Buy one app and get second half price.
Did You Know?
As much as we are ready to get out in some of this warmer spring weather, we have other animal friends that are ready as well. Our bear friends are coming out of hibernation and it is important to be aware for their safety and ours.
The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife is urging people to take down their bird feeders by April 1.
The warmer days and melting snows will cause bears to come out of their dens looking for food.
Vermont bear biologist Forrest Hammond says many bears went into their winter dens last fall in poorer than normal condition due to a shortage of acorns, beechnuts and apples.
So some of the bears will be hungrier than normal.
