Happy Father's Day From Your Friends at the Village of Palmetto Bay
Virtual Public Meetings for Three Finalists
Next Week - June 22, 23 and 24
Next week, Mayor Cunningham and members of Village Council will be interviewing three finalists for the position of Palmetto Bay Village Manager.
They will hold final discussions and make their decision in a  Virtual Special Council Meeting   on Thursday, June 25th, which you can watch live on our  Facebook page Village website   and WBAY.

Before then, we'd like you to get to know the candidates in 3 separate virtual sessions. Each session will be moderated by Village Public Information Officer, Kelly Craig.

On Monday June 22nd, at 6 pm, we'll chat with and pose your questions to candidate Michael Renshaw. See Mr. Renshaw's biography  here .

On Tuesday, June 23rd at 6 pm, we'll meet Luis Cabrera and have him answer your inquiries. Mr. Cabrera's biography can be seen  here .

And finally on Wednesday, June 24th, we'll talk with Guillermo Olmedillo   and convey your questions to him. Click   here   to see Mr. Olmedillo's biography.

All three question and answer sessions can be viewed live on  Facebook , the  Village website   and WBAY.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. It will present you with our new GoToWebinar session information, and call-in telephone numbers for those wishing to use a telephone. Telephone attendees may not participate in public comment as the system has no way to mute or unmute. Online GoToWebinar users may be recognized to speak using the "raise hand" feature during public comment. Users will receive several reminder emails prior to the session(s). Be sure to check your spam and junk email folders to ensure delivery.

One Day Gaming Tournament for PB Kids
Are you the between 8-17 years of age, a resident of Palmetto Bay and really love gaming? Well, here’s an opportunity to show off your “gamer” skills in the Village of Palmetto Bay’s Summer Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Virtual Gaming Tournament. Space is limited to 32 players and the deadline to register is  Wednesday, July 8th.  It’s important that parents register their child and sign off on waivers. The winner's bracket will be streamed live on the Village of Palmetto Bay Facebook page with commentators. Top Players will receive prizes.

Parks
All Palmetto Bay Parks are reopened with limited recreation. Current CDC and State Health Department guidelines regarding the use of masks, 6 feet of social distancing between individuals and limit of groups to 10 people or fewer, must be followed.
