flood safety reminders

n expectation of heavy rainfall and possible flooding for this Memorial Day weekend.

Memorial Day Ceremony at American Legion
|
A remembrance honoring all who served
is planned for Monday at 11 am, Marlin Moore American Legion Post 133, 16401 SW 90th Ave, Palmetto Bay. Refreshments served beginning at 10:00. Everyone is invited to come by and thank a veteran.

It's now set for June 3rd, 9 am - 2 pm at Coral Reef Park. Plenty of vendors will be unloading their unwanted treasures, so get there early. It takes place at the 77th Avenue parking lot. See you then!

Alright dog lovers, here's an event for you AND your favorite four-legged friend. On Saturday, June 23rd, at Coral Reef Park, Palmetto Bay joins Miami-Dade County and surrounding communities for an
Adoption and Training Expo. Cool events include a dog wash, prizes and a K-9 exhibition. No bones about it!
