" Geocaching" in Coral Reef Park Sunday
The Village teams with local Boy Scout Troop 711 Eagle Scout projects to hold a "geocaching" event on Sunday August 4th at 10 am. Meet at the 77th St. gazebo at CRP and take part in the world's largest treasure hunt. *Be sure to bring your smart phone.
National Night Out/Movie Night

On Tuesday night, August 6th, join us to mark the nationwide "Night Out Against Crime" and have some fun, too. Bounce houses, face painting, and our feature, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. The fun begins at 6:30, movie at 8:30. Coral Reef Park. Please bring blankets, chairs.
Tri-City Senior Gameday Tournaments
Seniors, your Village has teamed up with Cutler Bay and Pinecrest for fun board-game tournaments. On August 6th, free b reakfast & bingo in Cutler Bay. Then a mah jong tourney in Pinecrest on Wednesday, September 18th for just $10. RSVP required.
ArtSouth Presents the Work of Alexander Porto

Yup, they're here! Our first two "Freebees" are already a big hit in the Village. These are green, gasless on-demand vehicles that pick you up and take you anywhere within Palmetto Bay, FUN AND FREE!

Service hours are:
  • Monday - Friday: 6:30 am-10 am/ 3 pm-7 pm,
  • Saturday: 1 pm-10 pm.

Simply download "Ride Freebee" in your app store, and summon Freebee to pick you up and deliver you to any point in Palmetto Bay. If you don't use a smart phone, or you don't wish to download the app, you may call 305-397-5002 for service. In September, in addition to the two existing vehicles, two "Freebee" shuttle buses will be added to take riders from Palmetto Bay Park to the Dadeland South Metrorail station, Monday through Friday, mornings and evenings.
County Road Work Begins at 161 St & 162 St.
The Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department is installing new pipes at SW 161 ST & SW 162 ST between SW 80 AVE & SW 78 AVE. This door hanger was delivered to all affected residents; any questions or concerns, please call MDCWSD at 305-274-9272.
Franjo Road Phase II Update
Thank you for your patience as Phase 2 of the Franjo Road reconstruction project continues. SW 180th St and US 1. will remain closed for a period of 100 days or until October 16, 2019. Unlike phase 1 -  NO BUSINESSES ARE AFFECTED IN TERMS OF ACCESS. Click here to access more photos.
Palmetto Bay Summer Camp Wrap-up
Thank you to all the parents who once again entrusted their children to the Palmetto Bay Summer Camp program. It was another highly successful season. The last day was on Friday, August 2nd, when the youngsters were surprised by an afternoon treat of Kona Ices. See you again next year!
