Prayer Partners Needed!
As the Orthodox parish of Norman, we are blessed to serve and support the Orthodox students here at OU. Our College Ministry Committee is offering you a way to personally support our students. We are seeking volunteers who will pray for one student every day, through the end of 2019. Volunteers will be matched with a student and given some personal prayer requests from him or her, along with a Prayer Partner mug as a reminder of your commitment (see photo). If you would like to be a prayer partner, please speak with Fr Jeremy or email him at  frjeremydavis@gmail.com .

Classroom Key Sign Out
We want our kids to have space to play during coffee hour, but we also need to ensure that they are safe and that the facilities are cared for. In an effort to balance these priorities, the Parish Council has decided to try a "sign out" system for the classroom.

From now on the classroom will be locked. However, a key will be available in the bookstore to be checked out by an adult. (The bookstore attendant on duty can help with this.)

The one who checks out the key must accept responsibility to make sure that the classroom is supervised throughout its use, and then to tidy it up, lock the door and return the key to the bookstore before 12:30pm (when the bookstore closes). Perhaps parents can take turns being responsible for the room, so that the burden doesn't just rest on a few.

Thanks for your patience and help as we seek to be good stewards of our facility. Please feel free to address any questions or concerns to Fr Jeremy or a member of the Parish Council.
