Memory Eternal: Ed Adwon

With deep sadness but hope in the resurrection we announce the passing of Ed Adwon, a longtime member of Holy Ascension and one of its original founders. Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Monday, November 28th

• 6-8pm - Viewing at Primrose Funeral Home: 1109 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071 Click here for directions. Trisagion prayers for the departed will be offered at Primrose Funeral Home during the viewing at 6:30pm.



Tuesday, November 29th

• 10am - Funeral Service for Ed Adwon at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church: 3350 12th Ave. NE, Norman, OK 73071 Click here for directions. The funeral service will be followed by a mercy meal at Holy Ascension.

Book Donation Drive

As part of the continued renovation of our library, we are asking for donations of any books you no longer want but think our parish could benefit from. A larger, more complete selection would make our library an even more useful resource for the parish and its growing membership. We welcome anything related to the Orthodox Church and our life in Christ. Please leave your donations in the designated box in the stairwell. Any books not taken into the library will either be sold or donated.
