If there's one thing Ms. Wilke's 6th Grade S.T.E.A.M. Elective Class teaches Culver City Middle Schoolers, it's that Science Is Cool... And Coding With Ozobots, just might be the coolest!  In the moving picture above, you can see how Ms. Wilke's students have been tasked with competing against each other in a version of Coding Bowling.  Groups of students use code (see those colored dots in the middle of all those black lines?) to move their robot across the gameboard knocking down pins as it goes along.  The team who bowls a strike first, wins!  It's that simple.  It's that fun. And it's what the next generation of science learning looks like in schools.  Culver City is leading the way!!!
The purpose of the Culver City Unified School District's Facebook, Twitter Instagram, and YouTube accounts is to further the District's vision and mission to connect and engage all students, teachers, and families to the Academic, Artistic, and Athletic efforts of our schools.   For questions about social media, please contact your school's principal, or email our Director Of Technology at directoroftech@ccusd.org.
