Important Parking Notice
Hello Culver Pride Families and Staff!

As we continue to finish the demolition of the Natatorium, access to the parking lot located in front of the Natatorium will be limited or blocked. We strongly encourage you to allow yourself additional time in the morning to drop off your children.

If you are bringing your student to the High School, please drop them off at either the Harter gate (at the back of the school) or the Huron gate (at the side of the school). If you need to drop off in front of the school, please use the inlet area between Robert Frost and the administration office.

If you are bringing your student to the Middle School, we suggest that you use the bridge access on Ocean Drive (off Overland Ave). Your student can walk across the bridge and head directly into the Middle School. You can also use the inlet area between Robert Frost and the High School administration building on Elenda.

If you are bringing your student to Farragut, please use either the area at Coombs Park, the parking lot at the Culver City Public Library or the Adult School parking lot. Each of these lots has a pedestrian gate that gives access to the Farragut playground.

This is also a great time to take the “3 block walking challenge” by parking and walking from either Overland and Farragut or Overland and Franklin (see more info below)!

The parking lot located at the back of the High School will be accessible to employees only. Employees will need to make sure that their parking permit placard is clearly displayed on their rear view mirror.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to work on these awesome Bond Facilities projects!

Congratulations to All of Our New Staff Members! Welcome to the CCUSD Family!

Fiesta La Ballona, Culver City’s “Party In The Park” will be held August 25-27, 2017 at Veterans Park located at 4117 Overland Avenue. The popular Culver City event features carnival rides and games, live performances, over 100 booths spotlighting local organizations as well as featuring artisan wares and other vendors, a petting zoo and pony rides, a beer and wine garden, food trucks and a food court, and other special events. Fiesta La Ballona is bicycle-friendly and strives to be a zero waste event. Admission is free to this spectacular end-of-summer festival. Fiesta La Ballona is part of the City of Culver City’s centennial celebration this year.

Last year, Fiesta attracted more than 30,000 visitors over the course of the weekend. Fiesta La Ballona began as a weeklong celebration of the region’s early settlers and has evolved into a three-day festival that kicks off the afternoon of Friday, August 25 and closes down Sunday night, August 27.  Fiesta hours are 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (carnival rides start at 6 p.m.) on Friday, August 25; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 26; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 27.
