California Mock Election To Take Place At CCMS                    Culver City Middle School Students will be participating in the California Student Mock Election in Social Studies classrooms. 

Culver City Unified School Board Meeting, 7pm @ City Hall          The Culver City School Board typically meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month.  All are welcome to attend.

Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly @ La Ballona                              Celebrated each September 15 through October 15, HHM offers a great opportunity to discover, celebrate, and recognize culture.

AVPA Featured At Culver City Art Walk
Isabella Haro-Uchimura (left) and Isabella Bustanoby (right) are among dozens of Academy Of Visual And Performing Arts Students From Culver City High School Participating In This Year's Art Walk.  All weekend long, performing, visual, and fine artists from around Los Angeles feature their work to a broader audience of admirers.
Culver Wins @ Homecoming!!!

Culver City's Robotics Team is absolutely incredible.  They are a completely student driven group of robotics engineers that work with real engineering professionals and participate in the annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology) Robotics competition.

Sony Donates $50,000
To Culver City Schools
In line with Culver City's Centennial Celebration, Sony announced a gift of $50,000  to help every Culver City Unified student envision, dream and create a project that aligns with the amazing history and culture of our beloved community.  Look for news this Fall on how students can show off their love for all things Culver with tons of resources at their disposal all the while.
Culver City "Digs Pink" With A Sweep Over SAMOHI
The 2nd Annual DIG PINK Girls Volleyball Game was last week, and Culver City swept Santa Monica in a three-set performance that moved the Lady Centaurs into the top slot in the ever-competitive Ocean League.  Every game matters at this point, as Playoffs are right around the corner; so please come out and support GIRLS Volleybal and all of our fabulous Sports Teams this Fall and throughout the pos-season :)
