QUINTESSENTIALLY CULVER!
That's Mr. Hernandez.  He's a Spanish Teacher and Technology Coordinator at Culver City High School, a parent of a La Ballona student, and a genuine bike enthusiast.  On this day, he was wearing his "SPIR17 OF EXCELLENCE" shirt from CCHS as he and his daughter biked down Washington Boulevard to attend Back To School Night.  That's "Quintessentially Culver" --- a mix of family,  fun, culture, and a great regard for transportation.  Always.

Girls Volleyball's DIG PINK Game Is This Tuesday!
The 2nd Annual DIG PINK Girls Volleyball game is this Tuesday night against Santa Monica High School, and we're expecting another sell-out crowd.  The game, an annual fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is coupled with class fundraising efforts throughout the week at Culver City High School, and raises upwards of $2,000 for the Sideout Foundation, a research and advocacy group in the fight against Breast Cancer.  Come out and support the girls this Tuesday!  Fall Sports is off to a terrific start, and connecting our community to our students is what athletics is all about :)
