Open Chair Positions Available!

Your children need you, the willing parent, to help keep our functions running! Please consider volunteering! You get to decide how big or small the function is. Some of the functions are handled throughout the school year while others are around planning a single event. A good portion of the roles do not require you to be available during school hours. In fact, several of our volunteer parents have full time jobs away from home and perform the functions of their chair positions on their own time and on their terms.

The following positions are available:

  • Golf Tournament - Organize our annual golf tournament
  • Silent Auction - co-chair - Organize, coordinate and procure donated goods/services to be auctioned off
  • "I know My States" - coordinate students testing for states quiz. Scheduled for all Thursdays in February.

Volunteers make this organization successful! Thank you in advance for those generous with their time.

Go Green with AHES!
Are you an energy conscience person? Then you're the right person for this role!

Our wonderful first grade teacher, Mrs. Verdone, has an opportunity for a $1,000 grant for our school!!

She is in need of a few parent helpers to make our school more "green". Not only does this encourage our students to be more Earth conscience and resourceful, it raises money for AHES!

Please take this opportunity to help!

Mrs. Verdone is leading the charge and would be happy to answer any questions regarding the role and expectations.

She can be reached here at Mrs. Verdone!

For your student to be part of the "Green Team" click here for the online signup.

AHES Website and more....

  •  If you've volunteered for AHES and haven't had a chance to log in your volunteer hours at a PTA meeting, you can now do it from your device anywhere. Just log in to: and log your time. Remember, it's important to notate how much time you've volunteered for AHES in order for the PTA to maintain its non-profit status.

Have your students take sample tests in preparation for the next tests in March, and find out what you can do to ensure your student's success.
