From ICU to Full Recovery!
COVID-19 can't keep Jose Zacapa down! Jose is a 19-year old from Florida with Down Syndrome and he spent 3 weeks in ICU due to COVID-19. He made a full recovery and was released from Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. We decided to lift his spirits and send him a care package filled with Dream Ride apparel and more! Way to be strong Jose! We hope you enjoy your new gear!
As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL our 2nd Annual Kindness Warriors- Ride for Ian originally scheduled for July 18, 2020. This decision was made to ensure the safety of our attendees, friends, and volunteers. Please stay safe and healthy! We will let you know as soon as we confirm details for our 2021 event!
The Hometown Foundation is excited to partner with the Cheshire Police Department for a community parade! The parade will take place on May 12th driving through downtown Cheshire to spread hope and cheer throughout the town. Surprise pizza donated by Rossini’s will be delivered to medical staff along the route! We encourage everyone to come and be a part of the parade or cheer along the route, we look forward to seeing you there!
