April has a long history of significance in the autism community as a month to focus on autism awareness and acceptance. Milestones Autism Resources is taking this recognition one step further, in a greater act of inclusion and appreciation of the value autistic individuals bring to our society.

That is why Milestones is proud to recognize the month of April as Autism Appreciation Month. May we all take time this month to truly appreciate the unique perspectives, accomplishments, and contributions autistic individuals bring to our communities and our lives, each and every day.

Milestones Conducts Educational Training with Cleveland.com

Milestones Director of Education, Bradley Wyner, and Director of Autistic Supports, Nathan Morgan, met with journalists from Cleveland.com for an educational workshop and DEI training.

Attendees learned to recognize the importance of autistic diversity and ways to make the storytelling experience more accessible for a neurodivergent population.

Milestones Welcomes Carole Shaull as Human Resources Manager!

Carole brings extensive experience in all core areas of Human Resources including employee recruitment, development and recognition. She has a track record of building strong relationships among staff and creating and applying equitable policies.

Carole has lead supervisor training and developed department and staff goals tied to organizational strategic plans and core values.

She worked as Director of Human Resources at Achievement Centers for Children for 5 years and has an MBA in Human Resources and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification.

Milestones Welcomes Elizabeth Irarragorry as Development Data Coordinator!

Elizabeth has several years of experience as a data and market analyst. She is skilled in analyzing large datasets and providing insight to assist in driving business decisions.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is studying German. Lizzie has an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Queensborough Community College.
