The purpose of this award is to select the REALTOR® who has contributed the most to the advancement of the real estate profession and to his/her community; to recognize that REALTOR® for effort and work expended in the interest of his/her Board; to demonstrate to the public the place of the REALTOR® in the community; and to call attention to the qualifications of these REALTORS® for positions of leadership in business and organizations.
The deadline to submit nominations is January 31, 2023.

The Home Buyer's Assistance Foundation awards $250 grants to qualified first-time home buyers who have prepared themselves for home ownership by taking an approved home buyers education class, worked with a REALTOR® and are purchasing a home of $230,000 or less.
We are pleased to announce the addition of Tiffany Meints, Nebraska REALTORS® Association's new Finance Administrator.
Tiffany has previously worked as a Financial Advisor and has over six years of experience working with other Nebraska associations, including planning events, board administration, financial management and website maintenance.
Tiffany earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Doane College. She currently serves on her local Kiwanis Board and her community’s Betterment and Scholarship Committees. She lives in Milford and enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their 1-year-old son, Cooper. In her free time, you can find her reading a good book, riding bikes and being outside as much as possible.

Governor Jim Pillen has announced his appointment of former Governor, Pete Ricketts to serve in the U.S. Senate.
Ricketts will now serve until January 2025. Under Nebraska state law, Rickets will have to run in a special election in 2024 to fill the remaining two years of Sasse’s term. He would then have to run again in 2026 in order to win a full six-year term.
