The YMCA Alumni Chambers Chapter, basically Ohio, has invited all members of our Hoosier-Buell Chapter to join them Sept. 9-11 for a Fall Reunion in Berlin and Sandy Creek, Ohio's Amish Country. We encourage you to attend this event! It will be fun meeting other retirees and doing interesting tours. There will also be a segment for our Hoosier-Buell Annual Meeting.

The YMCA Alumni / Chambers Chapter 2026 Fall Reunion, dubbed by Hosts Dave and Jenn Patterson, "The Greatest Reunion of All Time," is set for September 9-11 in Berlin and Sugar Creek, Ohio's Amish Country.

Lou Drexler, YMCA Alumni member from Indianapolis, had an unfortunate fall at his home at the end of June. He has a vertical fracture of his right femur. Hence, the ortho doctor has directed Lou to use a walker with no side movements and no driving a car for six weeks. Email or phone (317) 777-2588 to send a get-well text.
'TWIG' BUILDOUT TO COMPLETE
SERVICE PROJECT; COME ALONG
Construction of a prototype “Twig” (small Y branch), the final piece of YMCA Alumni’s first National Service Project, begins next month in the small, outlying community of La Plant, SD. Six, week-long volunteer waves are scheduled for Aug.18-25; Aug. 25-Sept. 1; Sept. 1-8; Sept. 8-15; Sept. 15-22, and Sept. 22-29. If you, your family members, and/or friends are interested in volunteering to help build the Twig, please contact either Gary Graham or Lee Muckeyfor details and to answer any questions.
CRUISE THE PANAMA CANAL, MEXICO AND THE CARIBBEAN, TOO
OCTOBER 10-26, 2027
This 16-night Ocean-to-Ocean Transcanal Voyage aboard the Star Princess from Los Angeles, CA, to Port Canaveral, FL, bridges the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
