Connect. Travel. Serve.
Thank you Don Stetson
Thanks, thanks and more thank yous to Don Stetson, our recently retired Hoosier-Buell Chapter Treasurer.

Don has faithfully recorded our chapter finances and membership records for over 16 years. His meticulous accounting and alumni member address information has been a joy to witness and a great asset to our members. And we all loved his birthday, anniversary and holiday greeting email cards.

Don has had some heart surgeries the past couple of months and will complete rehabilitation at home in Muncie, Indiana. Ramona and Don will continue their active involvement in chapter events.  You can send him a get well or thank you card to: 5501 W. River Road, Muncie, IN 47304.

Terry Jones, Co-President, will be our interim treasurer and membership person until we get a replacement. Yes, we need a good candidate to learn the role. Ideally we are asking for the new person to serve in this role for only 2-3 years.

Please contact Terry with any questions.

Our Hoosier Buell Chapter Campaign Team reports $16,235 in pledges from 23 gifts. That represents about one third of our current alumni membership. The official YMCA Alumni campaign ends March 31, so you still have time to donate this year.

Many thanks to our dedicated team: Rose Berberian, Bobbie Burtan, Barry Stephens, George Cummings, Roy Gilliom, Terry Jones, Lou Drexler, Hwa Stacey, Don Stetson and Dan Sager.

Nationally, we have topped $450,000 from more than 325 gift/pledges towards our $600,000 long term goal to build tiny houses and "twigs" (small branches) for the Sioux YMCA. That’s tremendous!
