Our Vision Statement:

We are a welcoming community FIRST UNITED in proclaiming FAITH in Jesus Christ, sharing HOPE for the future, and inspiring LOVE of our neighbors.

Special Thanksgiving Plans

Mark your calendar for our Thanksgiving Worship Service and sit-down Agape Dinner coming on Saturday (11/22). We'll gather at 4:45pm for a combined service with our church friends from First Presbyterian - Green Bay, Wequiock Presbyterian, and Christ First Methodist Church. We'll also continue collecting non-perishable donations for the Presbyterian Pantry. After the service, everyone's invited to gather in our Family Life Center for a special sit-down Agape Dinner. It should really be a special evening so we hope you'll join us!

Calling All Men

Join our new, monthly Men’s Fellowship gathering TONIGHT (Thursday 10/30) at 6pm at Copper State Brewing Company/Restaurant (313 Dousman Street, GB). This is a time for men to connect, share good conversation, and enjoy great food together. We had a fantastic time last month, and we’re looking forward to another evening of fellowship and fun! All are welcome! Bring a friend and come as you are. Contact Pastor Luke with questions.

Plans for This Sunday

We all know what it feels like to be lost - disconnected from God, from others, or even from ourselves. But God’s grace seeks us out, forgives us, and restores us. In preparation for worship this Sunday (11/2) at 9 am, consider reading Psalm 32:1-7 and Luke 19:1-10 (click link to read). In David’s Psalm and in Zacchaeus’s story, we see that the joy of being found begins with the courage to be seen and the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Hope you'll join us Sunday!

Don't Forget Your Name Tag

Our Deacons provide name tags on the first Sunday each month to help us all put our names with our faces so we can get to know each other better. Please stop by the racks in the Narthex to pick up your tag when you come in (or fill out a new one if there isn't one for you yet). Thanks!

Sunday School for All at 10:30 am

*Pre-K to 2nd graders (Room 4 - the Library)

*3rd to 5th graders (Room 6 - downstairs)

*6th to 12th grade Youth (Youth Room)

Adult Sunday School

Sunday at 10:30am in the Koinonia Lounge, our adult class will continue our lively and eye-opening study of “12 Steps for the Recovering Pharisee (Like Me).” Expect plenty of laughter, honest conversation, and maybe even a little soul-searching as we learn to let go of our inner “know-it-all” and focus on growing in grace together.

Youth Group Updates

> Sunday (11/2) will bring the return of our Youth Coffee Shop & Bake Sale right after church. Please let Pastor Meggan or Scott McPherson know if you can help bake or sell items. Also, if anyone loves to bake and wants to donate goods, please drop them off in the Gathering Area before worship on Sunday.

 > Sunday from 6 to 7:30pm, all 6th-12th grade students are invited to join the gang in the Youth Video Room downstairs for the "fan favorite" Game Night. Join youth leaders Pastors Meggan, Pastor Luke, Scott McPherson, and Anne Ferron to continue a great new year of fellowship and fun!

Fruitcake Season has Begun!

Everyone's invited to join our traditional Men’s Fellowship Fruitcake Season. After last evening's mixing of the "secret" ingredients, the baking/wrapping sessions will begin next Monday at 5pm (11/3) with additional sessions on Tuesday (11/4) at 8am and 5pm and every Monday and Tuesday through November. For more details, contact Bruce Kilmer at 920-336-6447.

Are YOU a Reformer?

Join the Dead Reformers Society on Tuesday (11/4) at 7pm at Badger State Brewing for an evening of thoughtful conversation and good fellowship. This month’s discussion focuses on the life and work of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, whose wisdom, wit, and courage continue to inspire people of all faiths. Come explore how Rabbi Sacks wrestled with one of the most important questions of our time - how we can learn to love and live as neighbors in a truly pluralistic society.

Sharing the Love!

Join us for our Agape Drive-Thru Dinner coming Wednesday (11/5) at 5:45pm. The menu this month will be Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and "something pumpkin" for dessert. Everyone's invited to pick up free meals (while supplies last). Monetary donations are welcomed, but not required. Come share the love!

Come, Meet Our Pastors

It's almost time for our monthly Pastors in the Gathering Area time for November. (*Note the seasonal move from the parking lot to back inside.) Next Thursday (11/6) at 10am, Pastors Luke and Meggan will be available to meet with church friends and spend some time with you. They set this time on the first Thursday of each month for some casual conversations.

Lots of Ways YOU Can Help

The D.P.C.O. Christmas Store season is beginning, and there are several ways you can get involved. This Sunday (11/2), you'll see a Giving Tree set up filled with tags for you to take to see what items you can purchase to help the store.

Second, Panera Bread on Oneida is offering a special donation. Next Thursday (11/6) from 4 to 8pm, Panera will donate 25% of their net sales to the Christmas Store project. Use code FUND4U at panerabread.com, in the Panera App, or at the kiosk in-cafe.

Finally, we need LOTS of volunteers to help make the store happen. Here are online links for you to use to sign up to help: Saturday (12/6) set-up - click HERE... Monday (12/8) set-up - click HERE... Tuesday (12/9) in store - click HERE...Wednesday (12/10) in store - click HERE... Thursday (12/11) Clean up - click HERE.

Thanks to all who can help in any way. Contact Debbie Spiegel, Annette Kinchen, or Marilyn Heim for more information or questions about the project.

Presbyterian Women Update

> The annual Presbyterian Women Used Book Sale will begin on this Sunday (11/2). Find some great bargins and help our P.W. group support their many activities.

> The P.W. Coordinating Team will meet next Wednesday (11/5). Contact Julie Mackey for details.

> Our P.W. Mission Sewing Group will be threading their needles again next Thursday (11/6) at 19 am in the Koinonia Lounge.

Can You Help at D.P.C.O.?

As one of the local churches that support De Pere Christian Outreach, we provide 3 or 4 volunteers to help at the D.P.C.O. store on the first Saturday each month. If you can help this Saturday (11/1) or just want more details, please contact Tori England at toriengland@hotmail.com.

Food for Thought

Our Agape team will be holding a non-perishable Food Drive for the Presbyterian Pantry beginning this Sunday (11/2) and continuing until our Thanksgiving Worship Service (11/22). Please put your food donation items into the shopping cart in the Narthex. Let's see how many carts we can fill during November!

Divas are Dining Again

Hey women of our church family, have you ever joined our Dining Divas for dinner yet? Mark your calendars for the next gathering on Thursday (11/13) at 6pm. They'll eat at El Bistro Taco (400 Reid St., Suite M, De Pere). Please RSVP to Pastor Meggan, Debbie Spiegel, or Rachel O'Brien by Tuesday (11/11).

"Bloom" Stewardship Update

Thanks to everyone who has turned in your Pledge Card for 2026! To date, we've received about 70% back. If you have not returned yours yet, please do so to help the session plan and prepare for the coming new year. Together we can bloom!

We Appreciate You All!

We offer a special "thank you" to our wonderful office volunteers - Amy Cassidy, Melissa Rusk, Barb Ryan, Debbie Spiegel, and Kevin Spiegel. They volunteered to help out in our office during October. If you'd like to join the rotation as part of our great volunteer team, please contact the office!

E.P.H. Update

The Ecumenical Partnership for Housing helps homeless families improve their lives, and our church sponsors a duplex to help. Our volunteers are cleaning and restocking it for the next family. If you'd like to prepare a "welcome to your new home meal" for that next family, or if you'd just like to learn more, please email Jim France at jimginfrance@gmail.com.

Do You Have Extra Buttons?

Of all the things we can give to help our church, this may be an original. As we plan ahead for fun projects at fun events happening later this year, our Connecting Ministry is asking you to please donate any extra buttons or old jewelry you have. You'll find a small donation box on the Welcome Center at church. Please drop off anything you can for our future fun!

Planning Ahead for Holiday Event

Our Presbyterian Women are making plans for their annual Christmas Tea coming on December 7. This year, they're adding a "Christmas Boutique & Bake Sale" to the big event, and they're looking for volunteer crafters and bakers to donate items. Please call/text Susan Leiber (920-819-3430) to offer your help.
