First United Weekly Newsletter

November 27, 2025

Our Vision Statement:

We are a welcoming community FIRST UNITED in proclaiming FAITH in Jesus Christ, sharing HOPE for the future, and inspiring LOVE of our neighbors.

It's a Very Special Day

Giving Tuesday is a annual worldwide movement to celebrate charitable contributions following the commercialism of "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday." Please consider a special offering to First United as your Giving Tuesday gift this year. You can give now by scanning the QR code shown or by visiting our website (firstunitedpc.org). You can also use pew envelopes in the Sanctuary at church on Sunday. Offerings received will be split between our of First United Ministries and the purchase of new tables for the Koinonia Lounge and Family Life Center. Thanks you for giving!

Lots of Ways YOU Can Help

The D.P.C.O. Christmas Store is almost here, and you can be a part of it. Two Giving Trees are set up around the church with tags showing you what items you can purchase to help the store. Also, we still need some volunteers to help make the store happen. Here are the dates needed and links for you to sign up to help: Tuesday (12/9) in store (click HERE) and Wednesday (12/10) in store (click HERE). Contact Debbie Spiegel, Annette Kinchen, or Marilyn Heim for more information or questions about the project. Thanks to all who can help!

As we continue to sort through and update our church rooms, we found an older desk that could be yours FREE just for picking it up. If you're interested, please contact the church office or Pastor Meggan to make arrangements for you to remove it from our lower level.
