Annual Meeting & Booklets This Sunday

Our Annual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for this Sunday (2/16) following our worship service (*note: no Sunday School classes will be held that day). We'll get updates on our Ministries and committees plus receive details of the 2025 Church Budget. You can view our 2024 Annual Report by clicking HERE. A few printed copies are also still available in the Narthex and the office. We hope you'll join the conversation!

Also during the meeting, our 175th Jubilee Anniversary Booklets will be distributed. Every family can receive one printed copy. Also, a digital copy will be available on our website beginning on Sunday morning. Enjoy a great look back at our big anniversary year!

Dining Diva Plans for Next Week

Join our Dining Divas on Monday (2/17) at 6pm at Plank Road Plate & Pour (1632 Mid Valley Drive). Please R.S.V.P. by Sunday to Debbie Spiegel, Rachel O'Brien, or Pastor Meggan if you would like to join them. All women are welcome to become divas!

Plans for This Sunday

Join us for worship this Sunday (2/16) at 9am when we'll read Jeremiah 17:5-10 and Luke 6:17-26 (*click links to see now). They focus on Jesus’ blessings and woes. We'll also discuss how they relate to our connection with God and with one another. It's important for us to remember that we are not alone in our experiences and needs. We also cannot leave others alone in theirs.

Stay with us following worship for our Annual Congregational Meeting, distribution of Jubilee Booklets, and Coffee Fellowship Time for cake, treats, and some special time together.

*Sunday School classes will not be held this week due to the Congregational Meeting. Classes will return the following Sunday.

Youth Group Update

Congratulations to Elaine Farwell for winning this year’s special “seat” at last week's Youth Group "Super Bowl Party." This Sunday (2/16), all 6th - 12th grade students are invited to join our Youth Group when they'll continue their series of conversations about dating and relationships. Feel free to bring a friend from 6 to 7:30pm in our Youth Media Room downstairs.

Looking Ahead for Our Young People

Our current 5th graders through current 8th graders will soon be able to reserve their spot for our annual summer trip to Greenlake for The Great Escape coming July 7-12th. Kira Hanson is one of the directors, and Pastor Luke and Scott McPherson will be the afternoon speakers. This year’s theme is “Stronghold.” Sign-up information will be available soon, so watch for your chance for adventure.

Planning a True North Adventure!

We know it's snowing outside, but that'll get your kids ready for this summer's Vacation Bible School! Plans are in the works for an exciting new program called “True North" where kids will learn to trust Jesus in a wild world. The dates will begin after church on Sunday, July 20, and continue through the following week. Watch for more details about our big 2025 V.B.S. adventure as we get closer to the date.

Give, Act, and Pray

The devastating images of the disaster in California have stirred all our hearts with sorrow and compassion. If you'd like to donate through the church to help those in need, please click HERE to give electronically through our church website (www.firstunitedpc.org). Thank you.
