This Sunday's Worship Update
This Sunday at 9:45am, we will light the fourth Advent candle as well as continue the tradition of our annual Children’s Pageant. Covid-19 changed the way that it was done, but it is still an awesome retelling of the Christmas story by our children and youth. Many thanks to Scott McPherson for all his hours of recording and editing to make this possible. Also, thanks to our Sunday School teachers Brenda Duncanson, Barb Williams, and Pastor Meggan for their help, as well as Becky and Ken Nyberg for their assistance with the costumes. We can’t wait to share the final product with you this Sunday at 9:45am. Hope you'll join us!

Parking Lot Candlelight Service at 5pm
Webster Avenue in front of the church will be lit with luminaries at dark. We ask you to park your car in any space in our parking lot just prior to 5pm. Wait near or in your car for an usher to bring you a candle and bulletin. We will then join in a brief scripture reading and prayer followed by the lighting of candles and the singing of “Silent Night.” Please stay in or near your car and wear your mask to keep yourself and others safe.

Advent Update
We're hoping your Advent materials have been keeping you drawing closer to Christ as you await to celebrate his birth this Christmas. We have loved seeing your beautiful Advent wreaths too. Don’t forget to share your pictures with us so we can display them during worship. Email them to Mark Young (mark@firstunitedpc.org), the church office, or either Pastor. You can also send them via text to Pastor Meggan (920-246-9030). Also, don't forget to follow the final week of our "Where is It?" Devotional Calendar on Facebook or on our website.

Thank You
Pastor Meggan and the rest of the Farwell family would like to thank you all for your messages, cards, and gifts after the death of Meggan’s Grandmother, Phyllis Matthew. It helped them to know that they had the love and support of so many when they couldn’t be together with family.

8:30am Zoom Adult Sunday School
Week four of our Advent study focuses on the topic “To Choose Love.” Following the Advent devotion, we will be studying together Luke 2:15-20. A pregnant woman who has been walking for days, an innkeeper who makes space, shepherds who have just been awoken – there is so much that could go wrong in this story; yet, the characters continue to choose love over fear. Come join us on Sunday as we discuss how we too can “get curious, not furious.” Join us Sunday!

2021 Weekly Offering Envelopes are here! If you give weekly or monthly and do not use electronic banking, we suggest you use numbered envelopes. The advantages are twofold. It's beneficial to our money counters and treasurer in recording your offerings. It also serves as a reminder to give throughout the year. If you have not received your 2021 envelopes yet and would like to use them, please contact the church office at 920-336-1446 or info@firstunitedpc.org.

Christmas Store Update
Thank you so much to everyone who gave gift cards/monetary donations to the De Pere Christian Outreach Christmas Store. At the beginning of this project, we asked you to please "give with all your heart," and you did exactly that. Because of your donations combined with those from the other seven churches that make up the De Pere Christian Outreach, we were able to assist 137 families including 380 children and 214 adults have a little Merrier Christmas.
Thanks to many generous donations of hand-made potholders, crocheted dish cloths and gift card holders, the packets for each family included two potholders, a dish cloth, a gift card holder with their gift cards, a $10 gift certificate donated by De Pere Christian Outreach (for the families to shop at their Thrift Store), and a list of all the participating churches with our worship times. This is truly an amazing church family, and we are so grateful for your continued generosity. Thank you so much!
