Our Vision Statement:

We are a welcoming community FIRST UNITED in proclaiming FAITH in Jesus Christ, sharing HOPE for the future, and inspiring LOVE of our neighbors.

You Can Go Treasure Hunting!

Our Presbyterian Women are preparing for their Annual Rummage Sale which will be happening this Saturday (5/10) from 9am until 2pm. That means they're asking for your donations of clothing and special items to add to their sale. Please drop off your items in the corner of the Family Life Center behind the green curtains by Friday. Then join them Saturday to hunt for those hidden treasures and help support the mission work of our Presbyterian Women. *Special note - You can also get some bonus shopping time Sunday after church! Help make their Rummage Sale another great success!

Calling All Seniors

Are you graduating this year? Please email Pastor Meggan with a picture and a brief paragraph about your accomplishments and your plans for the future. We want to recognize all our graduates, so we ask that you email your information no later than this Sunday (5/11). Thanks and congratulations!

Plans for This Sunday

Join us for worship this Sunday (5/11) at 9am. This week’s sermon - “Shepherd of Souls” - draws from John 10:22-30 and Revelation 7:9-17 (*click links to read now), reminding us that Jesus is the Lord of all nations and all people. In a world often divided by borders, beliefs, and struggles, these scriptures affirm God’s absolute and unwavering claim on all humanity. Through Christ, we find hope that transcends every boundary - hope that is not reserved for a few, but extended to the great multitude from every nation, tribe, and language. We hope you'll join us!

*If you know of someone from our church family who's sick or in the hospital, please let the Pastors know so they can offer them some comfort.

Sunday School (10:30am)

*Pre-K to 2nd graders (Room 5 - downstairs)

*3rd - 5th graders (Room 6 - downstairs)

*6th - 12th grade Youth (Youth Media Room - downstairs)

>>The conclusion of our Sunday School and Youth Group program year is coming soon. The last day for both will be Sunday (5/18). Please come and enjoy the last two weeks before our summer break!

Adult Sunday School (Koinonia Lounge)

Join us this Sunday (5/11) at 10:30am for our Adult Sunday School class exploring the early church. Together, we’ll dive into the world of the first Christians, comparing and contrasting their beliefs and practices with the surrounding Roman society. Through thoughtful discussion and historical insight, we’ll examine how the early church’s message of love, equality, and hope stood in bold contrast to the values of the empire. All are welcome! Come deepen your understanding of our faith’s roots and how they continue to shape us today.

Youth Group Update

All 6th - 12th grade students are invited to join our Youth Group from 6-7:30pm this Sunday (5/11) in the Youth Media Room! Then on the following Sunday (5/18), we'll have our "end-of-the-year" cookout when we'll say goodbye to our seniors, welcome any incoming 6th graders, and extend our time to meet from 5-8pm. We'll have hamburgers and hot dogs. Please let Pastor Meggan know if you want to bring a side or dessert. It'll be a fun wrap-up to our great program year!

Diva Plans for This Month

Our Dining Divas had to cancel their April gathering, so they'll try again in May. Next Monday (5/12) at 6pm, they'll gather at El Maya (1049 Main Avenue near Festival Food on the west side). Please make sure you R.S.V.P. with Pastor Meggan by this Sunday (5/11). Email or text works best. Hope to see you there!

Reformers Followup

A big "THANK YOU" to Jill Larson for delivering an entertaining and thought-provoking presentation about health this past Wednesday (5/6) at our Dead Reformers Society meeting. Her insights sparked great conversation and meaningful reflection. If you’re curious about the Dead Reformers Society and looking for engaging fellowship and lively discussion, we’d love to have you join us next month on Tuesday, June 3, at 7pm at Badger State Brewing Company. Carpe Diem!

Sharing the Love

Last evening, our Agape Drive-Thru Dinner continued the wonderful tradition with a great lineup of church family, neighbors, and friends driving by to pick up free meals. As always, we'd like to thank our amazing team of volunteers who made it all happen on behalf of our church family. The next Agape Drive-Thru Meal is scheduled for June 4.
