YOU Could Win the Golden Spoon!

It's here! The return of our annual Chili Cook-Off Contest is happening this Saturday (1/31) at 5pm. You can bring a crock pot of your "secret recipe" to compete for the Golden Spoon award, or you can just come and enjoy being a judge. You'll also get a chance to win a number of great raffle prizes! Join us this Saturday night and find out who will be our latest winner!

Need Some Extra Support?

TODAY (1/29) at 10am, you're invited to our monthly Woe-Be-Gone Gathering in the Koinonia Lounge. We'd love to have you spend some time with us for this supportive group as we read scripture, share, pray, and listen to one another.

Special Ski Weekend

It's the return of one of our fun traditions! Twenty-two of our youth and adults will be headed to Ski Brule this weekend for a chilly family adventure. Please pray for fun and safety for all!

Plans for Sunday

Join us this Sunday (2/1) at 9 am. This week's worship will center on Micah 6:1-8 and 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 (click links to read). We'll be called to reflect on what God truly requires and where we place our confidence. In the sermon, “Want to Boast?”, we'll explore the contrast between human pride and the wisdom of God revealed through the cross, inviting us to live with humility, justice, and grace. Hope you'll join us!

Also, just a reminder to please let our Pastors know if you're aware of someone from our church family who is sick or in the hospital so they can be sure to provide care and support. Thank you!

Sunday School Begins at 10:30 am

*Pre-K to 2nd graders (Room 4 - the Library)

*3rd to 5th graders (Room 6 - downstairs)

*6th to 12th grade Youth (Youth Room)

Adult Sunday School (Koinonia Lounge)

This Sunday's Adult Sunday School will continue our study of C.S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters with a lively discussion of chapters 14-18. Together we’ll explore the author's sharp insights into pride, humility, temptation, and the subtle ways faith can be strengthened - or undermined - in everyday life. Whether you’ve been reading along or are jumping in for the first time, all are welcome to join the conversation and grow together in wisdom and discernment.

Youth Plans

> Sunday (2/1) will bring the return of our Youth Coffee Shop & Bake Sale right after church. Please let Pastor Meggan or Scott McPherson know if you can help bake or sell items. Also, if anyone loves to bake and wants to donate goods, please drop them off in the Gathering Area before worship on Sunday.

> Sunday from 6 to 7:30pm, all 6th-12th grade students are invited to join the gang in the Youth Video Room downstairs as we continue our regular, weekly time together!

> Our next Confirmation Class will meet immediately after Youth Group from 7:30 to 8:15 Sunday evening. Please read chapters 2 and 3 of your book Is God Real?.

Congratulations Pastor Luke!!

It was Sunday, February 3, 2013 when Pastor Luke Farwell led his first worship service as our Pastor. We'd all like to wish Pastor Luke a very happy 13th Anniversary leading our church! Thanks for everything you do every day in your continuing service to our church family and friends!
