Bake for a Cause: PW Election Day Bake Sale

Election Day is about more than casting your vote-it's also an opportunity to share your favorite homemade treats and support a meaningful cause! First United Presbyterian Church's Presbyterian Women (PW) will host an Election Day Bake Sale on Tuesday, November 3, and we need your help to make it a sweet success.

Whether your specialty is cookies, bars, breads, pies, or cakes, we invite you to share your baking talents with the community. With voters heading to the polls, its the perfect opportunity to treat someone to something delicious while supporting Presbyterian Women's mission projects.

How You Can Help:

We are looking for lots of baked-good donations! Please bring your donations prepackaged and ready to sell to the church office hallway on Monday, November 2, by 6:30 pm. Since we cannot use the church kitchen to repackage items into individual portions, please package your treats before dropping them off.

Proceeds from the bake sale will support Presbyterian Women's mission project at the local, regional, and national levels, as well as the mission of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Every donation makes a difference, and every baked good helps us share our gifts with others. Thank you for helping us turn Election Day into an opportunity to serve, give, and make a difference in our community!

Questions? Please contact Ginger France or Jan Nelson.

Christ First "Movie & Mingle"

Christ First would like to invite us to join them Tuesday, October 27 at 1 pm, as they feature the movie "Courageous" in the Koinonia Lounge. "Courageous" is a 2011 Christian drama film directed by Alex Kendrick that follows four police officers and a day laborer who struggle with their roles and responsibilities as fathers and husbands.

Despite facing daily dangers on the streets of Georgia, these men realize they are falling short at home. After a profound personal tragedy strikes one of the families, the men are driven to reevaluate their priorities and make a formal, faith-based commitment-known as the "Resolution"-to lead, love, and support their families with integrity and responsibility.

Sounds like a great film!!! Hope to see you there!!

Collection for the Presbyterian Pantry

On October 12 & October 26, our FUPC "Packer" teams will be at First Presbyterian of Green Bay to fill grocery bags for The Presbyterian Pantry. October's feature item is:

Noodles (Spaghetti or other).

A big THANK YOU for the generous donations during the month of September.

Serving Our Community

Last Tuesday (10/20), our volunteers served 154 meals at the NEW Community Shelter. Pizza casserole, salad, peaches, bread and cake was enjoyed by those who came out to enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal on a beautiful Fall evening. Serving others is what we are called to do as Christians. The commitment of our team who prepares and serves the meals makes this monthly meal possible.

We'll be preparing and serving dinners again at the shelter on Tuesday (11/17). If you'd like to assist with preparing or serving the meal, please call or text Cindi Barnett at

920-737-5376. If you would like to donate a cake, please contact Diane Betz at

920-660-1509 or mdbetz@att.net.

The event will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 9:00-10:30 am at the EPH's Office (200 S. Monroe, Green Bay).
