Sunday Worship Plans

Join us for worship this Sunday at 9 am at First United as we reflect on the sermon, "Zealous For What is RIght." Drawing from Acts of the Apostles 17:22-31 and First Epistle of Peter 3:13-22, we'll consider what it means to pursue righteousness with courage, humility, and a clear witness in a complex world. Hope you are able to join us! See you there!

Sunday School Begins at 10:30 am

*Pre-K to 2nd graders (Room 4 - the Library)

*3rd to 5th graders (Room 6 - downstairs)

*6th to 12th grade Youth (Youth Room)

Adult Sunday School

Week 4: The Essentials Tenets

This week, we focus on Covenant Life in the Church - what it means to belong to Christ's body and live faithfully with one another under His lordship. Together, we'll explore how the Church is more than a building - it is a covenant community shaped by grace, truth, and mutual commitment. Join us for a meaningful and practical discussion at 10:30 am in the K-Lounge following worship. All are welcome!

Youth Group Activities

Following worship, join our Coffee Fellowship Time in the Family Life Center. You can also support our youth activities by visiting our monthly Youth Coffee Shop & Bake Sale in the Gathering Area. Also, if you love to bake and want to donate anything, please drop them off in the Gathering Area before worship. Please let Pastor Meggan or Scott McPherson know if you can help bake or help sell goodies.

Youth Group will meet this Sunday from 6-7:30 pm. We are still working on the "end date" so stay tuned for more information in the near future. Hope to see you there!

On Saturday (5/9) the Confirmation group will head to Pastor Dominic and Nikki's Ranch for a special program "Rebellion-Ranch-Ride-Restoration" from 2pm-6pm.

Mark you Calendars!! All Good Things Must Come to an End...

Confirmation: Thirteen of our youth have been working diligently to prepare for their Confirmation during worship on Sunday (5/31). The Confirmation Class will meet for its last "official" class this Sunday (5/3) after youth group from 7:30-8:15 pm. Great job attending classes, serving, memorizing, writing, reflecting and deepening your commitment to Christ and seeking to join the church!

Sunday School: Kids, youth, and adults will wrap up on Sunday (5/10). Thanks to all who have faithfully attended and taught throughout the year. Pastors Luke and Meggan, Mark DeCleene, Cori Marinan, Sarah McPherson, Scott McPherson, Jameson O'Brien, and Debbie Spiegel. With just a few Sundays left, make it a priority to attend.

Need Some Extra Support?

Join us TODAY (4/30) at 10 am for our monthly Woe-Be-Gone Gathering. We'd love to have you spend some time with us for this supportive group as we read scripture, share, pray, and listen to one another. Everyone's welcome!

Dead Reformers Society

Join us Tuesday (5/5) at 7 pm for the next gathering of the Dead Reformers Society at Badger State Brewing Company (990 Tony Canadeo Run near Lambeau Field). Join us for a lively look at the surprising story behind Oneida Limited - from a radical commune to your kitchen drawer, with a tie to the Assassination of James A. Garfield. The whole discussion will be led by

Chris Wood. Hope you can make it!!

Our May "Spring Clean-Up" Needs You!

We're calling on all our wonderful helpers to come help with our Spring Clean-Up Day coming on Saturday, May 9, from 8:30am until around noon. We'll have jobs to be done outside as well as inside to help get our beautiful church home freshened up for the summer. Whether it's an hour or all morning, we hope you'll plan to come out and join our team!

Notes from the Desk of Jessie

As most of you have seen, I have taken on the new roles of Office Administrator as well as the Communications Coordinator positions within the church. In doing so, I need a favor from each of you. If you have any information that is needed to be shared through the newsletters or Monday spotlights, please have your updated information to me by Monday at 8pm to be included in that week's newsletter. Email Jessie at office.fupc@gmail.com or call the office Monday & Wednesdays at 920-336-1446. If you need to reach me outside of office hours, call or text me at 920-737-6446.

If there are any requests or issues for the doors to be open, you may also contact me via text or call my cell at 920-737-6446.

Please continue to email all church activity requests and information to communications.fupc@gmail.com or office.fupc@gmail.com

Visit with Our Pastors

Our monthly Pastors in the Gathering Area meeting is coming next Thursday (5/7) at 10 am. Pastors Luke and Meggan will be available to meet with church friends and spend some time with you. This is a special time planned on the first Thursday of each month.

We Honor Them

As we approach Memorial Day (5/25), our Deacons would like to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving our country in the Armed Forces. Also, if you have any family members or extended family members currently serving our nation, please provide these names as well as will be honoring those individuals for Armed Forces Day (5/16). Please get your information to Debbie Spiegel (debbielou333@gmail.com) or to the church office before Monday (5/18), so that we can include both lists in a special insert for the following Sunday (5/24).

Join Us For A Spot of Tea!

On Saturday (5/30), join us for an English Tea Party at 2pm. We will enjoy some tasty treats, an inspirational message from Pastor Luke Farwell, and you can try your luck at the raffles. Tickets will go on sale this Sunday (5/3) after worship in the Gathering Area. You can also call the office or purchase at the door. Tickets are $10 per person. Proceeds will go to Wilson's Wish, a non-profit animal sanctuary. BRING YOUR OWN TEACUP!

Looking for a Booyah Sale?

St. Anne’s Episcopal Church (one of our partners in the D.P.C.O. Christmas Store) is holding a Booyah Fundraiser on Saturday (5/9) and Sunday (5/10). They recommend that you order ahead, because they usually sell out pretty quickly. For more details or to place an order in advance, visit their website at www.stannesdepere.org (click to visit).
