Schuylkill County Vision, a nonprofit organization, is conducting a community survey to gather feedback from Shenandoah residents about the accessibility of Shenandoah parks, roads, and sidewalks.

Mandy Fitzpatrick the executive director recently attended a Shenandoah Chamber of Commerce meeting and explained the importance of the survey results and that everyone who completes a survey will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card to the Shenandoah grocery of their choice. English and Spanish versions of the survey can be located on the VISION website or by emailing Fitzpatrick at mfitzpatrick@ schuylkillvision.com.

“The Safe Routes to Parks survey helps VISION, the Borough, and the Safe Routes partnership guide the community’s priorities around park access, safety, and needs that will address in the Action Plan. The plan will be a document the Borough can use to address priority projects around parks and explore funding opportunities,” explained Fitzpatrick.

Additionally, VISION plans to get more information during a dual workshop with the National Safe Routes Partnership held in Shenandoah Borough Hall in May that will focus o the Safe Routes Project.
