ANNUAL FUND DRIVE (AFD)
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

Welcome back to the 2019-2020 school year! Our Annual Fund Drive is in full swing and we thank all those who have already contributed.
Make sure to turn in your form by the end of the school day this Friday, August 30th and your child will receive a homework pass!
Your AFD funds help provide our children with the following: classroom supplies, art supplies & instruction, our state-of-the-art computer lab, library furniture, music teacher, aides for school yard supervision, crossing guards, PE teacher, computer teacher, librarian, instructional aides, assemblies, author visits, hydration stations, our school garden equipment, all of our playground sports equipment, the "Bay Laurel" murals in the courtyard and the MPR, ergonomic desks & chairs for our upper grades...plus, all our fun activities such as Red Ribbon Week, Book Fair, Jog-A-Thon, Literacy Week, Spring Dance, Movie Night, Parent Welcome Breakfast, and SO MUCH MORE!

You can now earn $$ for our school with the new & improved Box Tops mobile app. The app will scan your store receipt, find participating products & instantly add Box Tops to our school's earnings online!
Box Tops are still worth 10¢ each for our school.
Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. For now, you can continue to clip & submit traditional Box Tops to the office Collection Box until they are phased out.

Have you heard about a new kinder cheerleading program or after-school sports with Coach Dante? Then you need to check out the after school enrichment opportunities and find out how to enroll!
Bay Laurel Elementary is proud to offer a number of high quality after-school care and enrichment classes. Information is posted on our
PFA website
for after-school care and enrichment activities from the following providers: Boys & Girls Club, the YMCA, Homework Club, Sports with Coach Dante, and JAXX Theatricals.
Check out the various After School Enrichment classes being offered by Boys and Girls Club (BGC) for all Bay Laurel students, even if your child is not a BGC member. Classes begin the week of September 16th and the
last day to enroll is September 6th!
