Thanks to the vision of Friends of Nobska Light board member Carissa April, and talented local artist, Liana Rasmussen of Climbing Vine Design, a "holiday silhouette party" has been created at Nobska. Liana generously donated her time and free-handed the figures that bring the Keepers' House to life again this holiday season. The party is in full swing every evening from sunset to midnight with the windows adorned with musical instruments, dancing and other holiday scenes.
There were a few more contributors to the festivities. Board members Jeff Thomas and Pat Burke gathered extra lights and set timers to help spread the story to both floors of the house. Carissa's son, Max, pitched in and hung the paper over all the windows. Carissa's creative hanging of the garland and ornaments add to the festive scene. It was Liana who enthusiastically provided the artistic flare and painted all of the party goers capturing the joy and the spirit of past holiday seasons.
