We want to thank Ballardsville Baptist Church for partnering with MERCY to bring Jeff and Debby McElroy to our area for the "Love and Laughter" Date Night. One hundred and fifty-six people enjoyed a combination of humor and biblical advice. For example, it was suggested when we are triggered by something our spouse said or did, we should do the following five things:

  • Go to God and vent for 5 minutes
  • Ask God to minister to you, then listen.
  • Thank God for three things for which you are grateful.
  • Based on what the Lord has done for you, what is one thing you can do for the Lord in response to this situation.
  • Then, do it!

Questions are written to encourage couples to share their personal thoughts and feelings about their spiritual lives and to grow individually and together in their relationship with the Lord.

They are only $13.99 per basket and a portion of the proceeds from these baskets go to help fund MERCY. In addition to these baskets, we have many more themes such as ones for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Family and Friends, etc.
