Quilter of the Month
LInda Lee is our April Quilter of the Month LInda has been quilting around 25 years and taught herself by reading books and magazines. She had a good background in sewing from her mother and from an amazing home ec teacher before she started quilting.
When she began quilting she loved the 30's prints and still does, but enjoys working with all fabric styles. She still has to try out the Civil War prints.
She loves working with Creative Grids rulers. She uses the 8 1/2 x 24 inch the most. She feels that the rotary cutter is the best notion ever invented.
Linda has several favorite designers including Kim Diehl, Gathering Friends, Doug Likso and Lori Holt. She enjoys applique and paper piecing but prefers piecing.
She gets her inspiration from quilt shops, magazines, You Tube and Show and Tell at Gone Quilting. She loves the challenge of trying something new! Check out Linda's window the next time you're in Manchester!
