Lab Advancements
Through various fundraising efforts, the Floyd Valley Auxiliary was able to donate $45,000 towards the purchase of a BioFire FilmArray System for the hospital lab. The BioFire FilmArray System has set the standard for molecular diagnostic testing.
For the Kids
“Floyd Valley Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary department, bringing together physical, speech and occupational therapy teams,” says Jerry DeWit, Floyd Valley Therapies Manager. “The program is led by a pediatrician, supplemented with social services, and works closely with the patient’s referring physician to provide a wide array of treatments and services.”
