Not many people would have predicted what has occurred over the last 15 months due to the global pandemic. Our hope is that you have remained safe and healthy during this time period. As there seems to be “light at the end of the tunnel”, optimism is beginning to appear again in the electrical industry in our province.
One of the events which the participants enjoyed was the Tin Cup. With the easing of restrictions, we are happy to host the Tin Cup again this year. It will be on August 12 at the Deer Valley Golf Club. Registration has begun. Be sure to enter soon as we expect to sell out in the next few weeks. There are also plenty of opportunities to sponsor this event ranging from hole signs, tents, beverage and food holes. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring the Tin Cup 2021. We hope to see you on August 12 at Deer Valley.
It is not all fun and games on the golf course this summer. We continue to advocate for the electrical industry in our province. Some of the important initiatives we are following over the next few months include:
- Licencing and Inspections transition to TSASK.
- CEC 2021 Code Renewal training and implementation.
- Master electrician requirement concept.
- Prompt payment legislation.
- Discounted training opportunities for members.
Please feel free to contact us if you ever have questions, concerns or need clarification about the electrical industry in Saskatchewan.
Thank you for your continued support of our association over this past period of uncertainty. We wish that you have a profitable and safe last half of 2021.
