Just sending out a quick update on what we've got going on at Horse Archery USA!
There have been several new and already established clubs that have recently joined the ranks of Horse Archery USA! Please welcome them to the HAUSA family and visit them on Facebook - there may be a new club near you!

If you cross paths with Chris Marks, please be sure to thank her for taking on the task of Newsletter Editor - and be prepared for her to give you a hilarious quick-witted comeback! Chris is an accomplished author, having written and published four novels, four novellas, an anthology, and has contributed to several publications such as journals and magazines. We're confident that she will be a great asset to our volunteer staff! All members are encouraged to contribute to the newsletter, which will soon be emailed out on a regular schedule! All HAUSA members are encouraged to send your horseback archery related photos, video clips, news, articles, and event announcements to Chris at Ironelf_llc@yahoo.com
You can now update your HAUSA online member profile! Log in using your email address and personal password to edit contact information, add photos, social media links, and update your affiliate club, emergency contact, and more! The Member Directory page is now live, so go check it out and see if there's other horse archers near you! You'll have the ability to search for other HAUSA members based on location, affiliate club, last name, or email address AND you can now edit your privacy preferences to show/hide your street address in the directory. You must be a member of Horse Archery USA to log in and view the membership directory.

In order to support our growing organization, we have begun charging a small yearly membership fee. The cost of membership is just $25 per individual, and just a few of the benefits of membership include:

  • A new and improved website experience, including easy access to important documents & forms such as Rules & Safety Procedures, a directory of HAUSA-affiliated clubs across the US, and a continuously updated Calendar of Events!
  • Subscription to On Target - our newsletter, providing important news, reminders, resources, and upcoming events.
  • The opportunity to help influence the development of horse archery in the U.S.
  •  The ability to compete in Horse Archery USA recognized events and competitions; which will include a divisional competition format that encourages rider/archers to improve their skills while still having an opportunity to be competitive.
  • Horse Archery USA membership card & window decal.
  • Discounts from select sponsors & partners (Complete list of current membership benefits and sponsors/partners available on the HAUSA website).

Guess what?! You can now complete an Online Membership Form and submit your annual fees directly through the website! horsearchery.us/membership
