The new smart manufacturing facility for Excellerate, a division of FTI, is making great progress!
McMahon is the engineering and architectural lead on this project, partnering with Solvare, Faith Technologies, The Boldt Company and Tweet/Garot Mechanical Inc. to bring this 385,000-square-foot facility to life.
During the design phase, Excellerate valued natural light, durability, safety and modern energy. Insulated metal panels were installed to serve as the building skin; an all-in-one durable interior finish, insulation layer and external shell.
The future expansion of the facility was also at the forefront in the design, and structure for future bridge cranes and a second-floor mezzanine for future office space was provided as the division continues to grow.
