Awards & Promotions

This week there were no promotions as boys were just back from the Family Day Leave weekend.

Ethan X, Kevin B and Dafydd J are this week's Citizens of the Week. Muna A is the Student of the Week.

Congratulations to all four students recognized for their good work this week.

Thursday February 23

Chess Dominance

Last week RLA competed in the fourth day of the Bishop's Keep Chess Tournament. Dimias S won his rated game. Thomas U and Steven T did not attend the tournament.

The win put Dimias S firmly in first place.

This week the team was scheduled to head to Hillfield Strathallan College, however the school postponed the chess tournament. They claim it is due to the weather, Coach Aoki suspects that it is because they fear our mighty chess steam roller of a team.

Sunday February 19

Weekend Outings

Small groups of students continue to take part in outings as part of the weekend program. This past weekend students visited the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, located at the Hamilton Airport where they had the opportunity to see aircraft flown by the Canadian military from World War II to the present.
