Beth Meixner is on a mission to help elevate more women to leadership positions in business.
She started a local networking group for business women, which counts partners and owners among its membership roster. She also started a foundation that mentors female college students and recent female college graduates in the ways and workings of networking and professional development. Just because this group is local to me, it doesn't mean you shouldn't watch the video below. This could be in Anytown, USA.
She stresses that this isn't about men vs. women. It's about putting all of us on an equal and respectful footing. She named it Moxxie Network. It's such a great name. The mentoring foundation is called Moxxie Mentoring Foundation.
We spoke on LinkedIn LIVE, which is basically my podcast on video. The video below is a 7 minute series of highlight clips from our 45 minute talk. I would love it if you would watch it. Maybe share it with a friend.
She is an open book - her words - and she's seen it all. I think there's something new for everyone who is willing to watch this. She is literally bursting with wisdom and great stories.
