JFS Senior Programs
In times of uncertainty we have you covered. JFS is offering a variety of programs designed specially to assist our seniors.

TELEPHONE REASSURANCE: Weekly or bi-weekly conversations with a volunteer to check in and chat.

ZOOM HANGOUTS: See familiar faces and meet new friends with our twice monthly Zoom get togethers.

PEN PALS: Receive and write letters with volunteers of all ages - child through adult.

PORCH VISITS: Socially distanced, outdoor visits with a JFS volunteer.

CYBER SENIORS: Get basic technology assistance over the phone with a JFS volunteer.

  • Help with basic needs, including housing, utilities, and food.

Counseling on a Sliding Scale

Jewish Family Service offers short and long-term therapy for adults, children, couples and families, provided by Clinical Social Workers. Relying on compassion as a key ingredient in the therapeutic process, the JFS counseling staff promotes personal growth for its clients in response to a variety of situations.

Billing and Insurance
JFS accepts private health insurance and Medicare. Sliding-fee scale based on the client’s ability to pay may also be available.
