As we gratefully continue our lives here in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Mark and I trust this newsletter finds you and your family safe and healthy. As we draw July, 2020 to a close, once again the overriding Covid 19 crisis continues to overshadow our businesses and our personal lives.

It was with mixed feelings for us and many in this state to hear of Governor Ige's decision to keep the 14-day Quarantine in place for the visitors to the state and post-pone until September 1st a revised plan to open to tourism. You can read more on this by

If you don't receive Honolulu's Civil Beat daily free e-newsletter go to their website and sign up - https://www.civilbeat.org/ great news coverage from both the local and state perspectives.

And speaking of Honolulu's Civil Beat ,
we had an opportunity to sit in on their Online Event/Zoom Conversation and Coffee on Wednesday July 15th - they had over 80 folks sign up!
This is a chat that is ususally done in their Honolulu Office but with Zoom they could invite many more to join in - they primarily discussed the Legislative Wrap Up -- it was a great chat, and very informative, especially for those of us still new to the islands - Again, I would encourage you to sign up for their free morning newsletter and then you will be sent a notice about the next Coffee Chats on Zoom!
