Welcoming New Leaders to the ISTAT Foundation

We are excited to welcome three new faces to the 2025 ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees: Eamonn Cronin of Airwork Holdings Ltd., Mamoun Kuzbari of Novus Aviation Capital and Rebecca Yue of Jackson Square Aviation. Kristen Chmielewski of GC Aero Law has succeeded Sigthor Einarsson as chair of the Board of Trustees — congratulations, Kristen!

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to our 2024 Board of Trustees, specifically to Dean Gerber, Andy LaStella and Christine Rovelli for their contributions as they conclude their terms.

IAP Holds Business Meeting and ConEd Session

The IAP held a combined in-person/online Business Meeting and ConEd Session at ISTAT Americas on 2 March in Phoenix. The continuing education portion of the session consisted of a roundtable session and the following three panels:

• The Importance of Appraisals in Aircraft Financings was moderated by Betsy Snyder with panelists Subbu Alagappan (PK AirFinance), Alan Greenblatt (KBRA), Robert Sheldon (Deutsche Bank) and Mark Streeter (JPMorgan) 
• Part-Outs & USM was moderated by Dave Rushe (Magellan), Andrew Ramonette (Allegiant), Lynn Shaw (KP Aviation) and Scott Butler (Ascent) 
• Engine Market Fireside Chat featured Giles Thomas (Charlotte Parker) and John Edwards (Sky Leasing)

IBG Elections

The IAP held elections for the IAP Board of Governors (IBG) on the Senior Appraisers on the Exams Committee. Alice Gondry was elected for a two-year term as one of the two Senior Appraisers on the Exams Committee. The ISTAT Board reappointed Dan Stone (DAE), Giles Thomas (Charlotte Parker) and Nick Stable (Wings Capital Partners) to the IBG as non-Appraiser members.
