Since its inception in 1994, the ISTAT Foundation has invested more than US$6.2 million in scholarships and educational programs and reached more than 1,000 aviation-passionate students worldwide. With your generosity, we will raise US$300,000 for this campaign, which will be used to provide essential resources to students, young professionals and the future of the commercial aviation industry for years to come.

ISTAT U 2.0 Applications Open for Students and Recent Graduates

If you know a student who is interested in a career in aviation finance and leasing, the ISTAT Foundation’s online program is the premier source for them to start their career this fall! ISTAT University (ISTAT U) provides an overview of the many facets of aviation finance and leasing and serves as an exceptional avenue to begin a career in the industry. ISTAT U 2.0 is facilitated by one of the world’s leading aviation universities, for individuals who have completed a bachelor’s degree within the last three years and do not have professional experience in the aviation leasing or finance industry. The 2024-2025 program starts 14 October 2024. Applications must be submitted by 1 September 2024.

Register Today for the Dublin Golf Tournament

Registration is open for the fifth annual ISTAT Foundation Dublin Golf Tournament. This event will take place, rain or shine, on Thursday, 19 September, at the Grange Golf Club in Dublin, Ireland. All proceeds from registration fees and sponsorship items will benefit the ISTAT Foundation’s charitable giving programs. Register by Friday, 30 August, and save €100 with the early

bird discount. 

Celebrate the 2024 ISTAT Scholarship and Grants Recipients

We’re proud to announce the ISTAT Foundation Scholarship and Grant recipients for 2024. The ISTAT Foundation Scholarship Program is committed to helping young people develop careers in aviation. The program offers scholarships to college-level students who excel academically and strive for professional excellence. View the list of 2024 ISTAT Scholarship recipients here. The ISTAT Foundation Grant Program supports organizations around the globe that advance commercial aviation or engage in aviation-related humanitarian efforts. Congratulations to the new ISTAT Certified Appraiser, Nick Miller at Aircraft Information Services Inc., who joined the ranks of ISTAT Certified Appraisers, having completed the certification process in June. Preparations are underway for the upcoming Autumn 2024 exams, which are set for 8-10 October 2024. The upcoming round is expected to include Appraiser Candidate to Appraiser and Appraiser to Senior Appraiser exams. This is a great indication of the progress and professional development within the ISTAT Appraisers Program membership. The IAP Continuing Education Session at ISTAT EMEA is scheduled for 13:00-17:00 on Sunday, 22 September.
