Manufacturing in Minnesota: How is it doing?

The HRA-EDA attended the MN State of Manufacturing presentation lead by Bob Kill, President and CEO of Enterprise Minnesota. He shared the results of the 15th annual State of Manufacturing survey, which revealed the latest trends in the Minnesota manufacturing industry including workforce, supply chain, economic confidence, and more.

Not only did attendees discover the survey insights and learn about the major issues impacting the industry, but it was a great networking opportunity for manufacturers and affiliates, including educators, elected officials, economic development professionals, foundations and members of the media.

Real Estate Journal: Affordable Housing Conference

Cathy Bennett, a board member of the Chisago County HRA-EDA, did a great job presenting at the Real Estate Journal event on Affordable Housing on Wednesday, December 13th. She educated attendees on the issues, needs and progress with affordable housing development in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Cathy also shared information around Chisago County and things we are doing at the HRA-EDA in attempt to attract new housing development.
