Congratulations to the City of Harris!

The city will be upgrading its infrastructure with the help of grants from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (MNDEED). The city was awarded a Small Cities Development Program Grant (SCDP) to replace a failed city well. The second grant is a Border-to-Border Broadband Grant that CenturyLink applied for to provide fiber to the home to residents of Harris. Funding from a federal Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) also contributes to the viability of bringing fast, reliable Internet to the city.
