2025 Nominees to the Board of Directors

Mike Struffolino


Mike Struffolino is the founder of GRN Coppell, a recruiting business he started with his daughter. Their focus is on placing sales professionals in roles involving software, SaaS, and services across various industries. With experience as a hiring manager at IBM, Mike is passionate about helping individuals find positions that are the right fit while ensuring alignment with the needs of hiring managers.


An accomplished sales executive, Mike has a proven track record of building high-performing teams, from startups to scaling existing teams, driving significant revenue, and exceeding quotas. His leadership style is results-driven with a servant-leader approach. As a subject matter expert, Mike excels in value selling, impact questioning, pipeline management, and forecasting. His skill set includes consultative selling, sales coaching, sales operations, mergers and acquisitions integration, and enterprise software.


Mike is actively involved in his community, serving as chairman of the real estate committee for Mobility Credit Union (formerly IBM Credit Union) and previously holding the role of Secretary. He is also a board member of Access-Life, a Christian ministry supporting families with disabilities, and serves on the Coppell Young Life committee, a Christian ministry dedicated to students in the Coppell and Valley Ranch areas.


Rodney J. Thomas III


Rodney J. Thomas III is an experienced business leader based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with expertise in investing, sales, marketing, and information technology. He has a proven track record of building high-performance teams and driving significant revenue growth. His career includes leadership roles at IBM, where he managed global technical sales teams, led product launches, and supported cloud, SaaS, and security solutions, contributing to multi-billion-dollar annual revenues.


Rodney is also an active investor with the North Texas Angel Network, focusing on startup ecosystems and due diligence. He holds advisory roles at the University of Texas at Dallas, contributing to economic development and digital transformation initiatives. Civic engagements include serving on boards for the Harvard Club of Dallas and Mobility Credit Union.


Academically, Rodney studied Applied Mathematics at Harvard College and has passed the FINRA Series 65 exam. His leadership style emphasizes strategic alignment, mentorship, and impactful community involvement.

Nomination by Petition


There will be no nominations from the floor. The election of officers will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. For members wishing to be nominated by petition, the procedures are as follows:


Official petitions must be filed with the Secretary of the Board no later than February 9, 2025. Nominees must submit a brief statement of qualifications and biographical data. Petitions must be signed by 1% of the membership (223 members) and sent to:
