Electronic Medical Records Upgrade
On October 1, Floyd Valley Healthcare implemented a new version of our electronic medical record (EMR). This may cause a slight delay in getting patients registered into the new system, so we ask that patients arrive early and be sure to bring a driver’s license and insurance card(s) to their next appointment.  Patients can also log into their patient portal and upload their documents, streamlining their check-in prior to their first visit after the conversion.
Pfizer Booster Updates
The CDC Director’s approval and the FDA’s amendment to the Emergency Use Authorization for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine allows for the administration of a single booster at least six calendar months after completing the primary series or any time thereafter for select groups.
Properly Disposing of Medicines
Floyd Valley Healthcare encourages you to dispose of unwanted or expired medicine at the MedSafe collection point located in the entry vestibule inside the West Entrance.  This drop-off can dispose of prescription medicines, OTC medicines, dietary supplements and inhalers.
