Season of Giving
Please consider making a gift this holiday season
The time of year is upon us when we open our hearts, homes and wallets to help others. Enable's annual appeal campaign has begun and we are asking our supporters to please think of us this holiday season. Your gift to Enable will help support the programs and services we provide to the men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities
who live in our 19 community-based group homes and attend our four day programs. Our consumers depend on our impassioned staff to
help them live their best lives. Click Here to make a donation today.
Another way you can support Enable this holiday season is to shop through Amazon Smile.
A percentage of your purchases will benefit the organization.

At Enable, we love and appreciate each and everyone of our volunteers. Over the past few months, we have had so many wonderful groups visit us. Each month, Bloomberg sends a volunteer group to visit our day program and work on projects with our consumers. Above and beyond their monthly commitment, 16 Bloomberg volunteers came to help out at our DSP Appreciation picnic in September; and in November, Bloomberg volunteers painted three bedrooms in one of our group homes. The painting materials were provided through a Home Depot grant. Janssen Pharmaceuticals is another generous company who sent two groups of volunteers to Enable in October. Janssen volunteers worked on a special "Picasso" art project with our consumers at our day programs and organized a fall cleanup of debris at one of our group homes. One of our newer corporate volunteer groups is BlackRock who have been extremely helpful in assisting us with getting out large mailings.
Our volunteers are comprised of many different groups. Not only large companies, individuals as well. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering for Enable,

Consumers in the Community
At Enable, our consumers love to volunteer as well. Volunteering in the community is a great way for our consumers to work on communication and pre-vocational skills, while having the opportunity to be contributing members of the community. Some of our volunteer placements include Meals on Wheels, Dress for Success Central NJ and the Franklin Food Bank. We are always looking for additional volunteer opportunities. Please contact our Director of Day & Employment Services, Anthony Camuso,
acamuso@enablenj.org if you are interested in partnering with Enable.
